Fresno Woman Killed In La Grange Crash

A Fresno woman was killed and her passenger seriously injured last night after the stolen truck they were driving careened off a road and overturned near the Sierra Nevada foothills town of La Grange.
The highway patrol says the Fresno couple were headed southbound on La Grange Road just before 7 last night in a stolen 1987 Ford pick-up. 33-year-old passenger Michael Krugman was ejected from the truck in the crash. He was taken to Tuolumne General Hospital in Sonora with major injuries. The 31-year-old woman driver was partially ejected from the overturned truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Tuolumne County coroner has not released her name, but authorities think the two are married and kept different last names.
