Condit´s Kids Were Paid From PAC
Former congressman Gary Condit paid his children about $209,000 last year with funds intended to advance his career. That´s according to records from the political action committee he established. They show the former lawmaker reported his children as “campaign consultants.”
The records say Condit´s children have been paid 75 percent of the money raised by the political action committee. Chad Condit says his father signed over the PAC to him last April. He says the money will be used for a documentary on his father´s life in office, called “Stolen Identity.”
The state Fair Political Practices Commission requires that expenditures from PACs be “directly related to a political, legislative or governmental purpose.”
