Two men have been arrested on charges of breaking into buildings at the Calaveras Unified School District offices early this morning.
Authorities say 22-year-old James Williams of Stockton and 32-year-old James Sherley of Oakdale broke into at least one shed using bolt cutters. Police say the men were smoking marijuana and were in possession of some stolen property. Investigators also say the man were using a scanner in the commission of a crime, because they had a scanner in their vehicle that was set to police frequencies.
They were booked into the Calaveras County Jail on $35,000 bail each.
