A Danville man is among the missing in the Rhode Island nightclub fire where 97 died last week.
Jeff Rader was a roadie working at the “Great White” show at The Station in West Warwick, Rhode Island. His job was selling T-shirts and working on sound for the band.
Rader´s parents and older brother flew to Rhode Island over the weekend. They joined other grieving relatives who were allowed to view the charred ruins of the nightclub yesterday. Videotape of the disaster shows pyrotechnic effects used by the band setting the club´s stage and ceiling ablaze. The 300 or so people inside were overwhelmed by the flames and smoke.
Officials say the entire building was engulfed in flames in just three minutes. Many of the bodies found in the rubble have yet to be identified.
