Morning Accidents Injure Drivers

Emergency personnel responded to Parrots Ferry Road near Marble Quarry Road north of Columbia just before 8 a.m. this morning when a vehicle went off the roadway into rocks there. The driver was reported pinned-in the car. CHP reports only minor injuries. The roadway was blocked for a time.
An injury accident victim in Calaveras County was gone when emergency units arrived at the scene this morning. CHP reports a crash at French Gulch Road and Darby lane had the lane there blocked. Driver of the vehicle was nowhere to be found.
