April Snow Surprises Many Mother Lode Residents

Low elevation snow from a Spring-time storm took many Mother Lode residents by surprise this morning. In Tuolumne County, snow was reported falling as low as Soulsbyville this morning.
In Twain-Harte and Mi-Wuk Village, most residents we talked to said it was a “pleasant surprise.” One snow plow operator told us he´d “get to work more hours,” so the white stuff was welcome news to him.
If you´re going to be traveling into the higher elevations, you´ll need to take your tire chains.
