A Stockton woman is isolated at home today on the orders of San Joaquin County health officials. They say she shows signs of severe acute respiratory syndrome — or SARS. Authorities say the woman was recently in Asia.
Sacramento County now has three cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome, known as SARS. Public Health Officer Doctor Glennah Trochet says the three SARS cases are associated with travel to Asia. She says there´s no evidence that the cases have spread in the community.
