$10 Million In Lotto Winnings Unclaimed
Someone has won $10 million in the California Lottery, but so far, the prize has gone unclaimed. Someone picked the winning numbers 31, 14, 12, 18, 46 and the Meganumber 7 yesterday while playing “SuperLotto Plus.”
California Lottery spokesman Simeon Aguirre says the winning ticket was sold at B.J.´s Express Mart in Visalia between Sunday and Wednesday.
As part of a deal to sell lottery tickets, the store owner will receive about half of 1% of the jackpot. That is about $50,000.
The lottery winner has 180 days to claim the money.
The largest jackpot won in the state was $193 million on February 16th, 2002. 3 people in different cities split that jackpot.
