Another big, wet storm is heading for the Mother Lode.
Forecasters predict more than an inch of rain will fall in a storm that could break rainfall records in some areas. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued by the Weather Service for the Yosemite area south. The latest storm is bringing the threat of heavy snow and lots of rain, with the greatest potential for heavy snowfall between Friday afternoon and Saturday. Snowfall could total a foot or more above 7,000 feet.
The front is expected to blow in around midnight tonight.
