College Basketball Team Investigated

The Columbia College Claim Jumper basketball program is on probation, at least for a year.
An internal investigation has uncovered at least six violations of the Central Valley Conference from players getting text books on credit to having the coaches pool players financial aid and work study checks.
College President Jim Riggs was not available yesterday afternoon for comment.
League commissioners and college administration are continuing their investigations into the violations.
