Woman Dies, Police Wounded in Suicide

A woman is dead and two police officers are injured after a harrowing incident in Madera.
Authorities there say a suicidal woman used gasoline to set herself on fire in an apartment. Two police officers tried to put out the fire. The woman died. One of the officers received 2nd degree burns and the other received only minor injuries.
About $100,000 damage was done to the apartment building. The woman´s name has not been released.
