SUV Careens Off Priest Grade

Possible fatal traffic accident on the Priest Grade this morning.
The highway patrol says a SUV hauling a loaded trailer apparently lost it´s brakes on the steep, twisting roadway and careened down the embankment about a half mile down from the top of the new Priest Grade.
That crash on Highway 120 near Big Oak Flat happened just after 6 a.m. this morning. Two air ambulances were called in to transport the seriously injured. CHP says one person may have been killed in this crash. That has not been confirmed.
