Mono Way to be Closed for Tree Removal

Mono Way at Hospital road will be closed Tuesday night as a tree is removed. Bill Seldon with Sonora Public Works says the roadway will be closed for a few hours starting at 11 pm Tuesday night.
“It´s got a broken limb in it that´s got a possibility of falling out into the road,” Seldon said. Crews will do a complete tree removal, “because the tree itself is probably a long term hazard,” Seldon said.
Drivers will have to find an alternate route during that time.
