Fire investigators have released the cause of the fire that heavily damaged the Twain Harte 7-Eleven store last week.
Twain Harte Fire Chief Bob Kempvanee told KVML news the cause was found to be “accidental” in nature.
Kempvanee says the fire originated in an electrical panel in a rear corner utility room housing air conditioning and electrical equipment.
No other structures were damaged in the blaze, but two firefighters sustained minor injuries battling the flames. Kempvanee says damage estimates have not yet been released by the 7-Eleven corporation.
