DMC Helicopter Lands at TGH Benefit

It was a somewhat windy start to the Tuolumne General Hospital Celebrity Golf Classic yesterday morning, when the Doctors Medical Center Air Med helicopter landed at the Mountain Springs golf course.
Former pro football players joined Mother Lode golfers for food, drinks, a silent auction and a live auction.
Of course, there was lots of golfing as well, followed by a celebrity playoff and awards dinner.
The proceeds from the charity event go to support the TGH Family Health and Wellness Center´s renovation project.
A second helicopter was staffed and standing by at the Columbia Airport, in case an emergency arose requiring an airlift.
