Victim’s Name Released In Avery Homicide

Officials have released more details about Friday´s homicide in Avery.
Around 6:30am Friday, the body of 77-year-old Ray Shires, of Arnold, was found in the parking lot of Avery Tire, apparently the victim of a homicide.
The suspect in the case is still said to be at large.
Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department.
