The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection is still reminding residents that grass, brush, and trees will continue to be critically dry until the fall rains get here.
They say the end of any fire season is often the worst part of fire season.
This month is national Fire Prevention Month as well.
The CDF says be extra careful with any fire you deal with this time of year.
Make sure you have at least 30 ft of defensible space around your property and always have a fire evacuation plan too.
