Public Input Sought on Cable TV Issues

Sponsored by:

If you have something to say about ComCast cable and how the future of cable in Tuolumne County will grow, you have a few days left to RSVP for a series of planning workshops.

The City of Sonora and Tuolumne County have begun a joint process for establishing a new franchise agreement with ComCast, and officials want public input.

Topics from public access cable channels and programming to online services and even interactive television will all be discussed.

The workshops are free and begin in a couple of weeks, but officials ask that anyone coming please RSVP by Monday, October 11th.

They´ll also be held at a variety of locations as the meetings will focus on different aspects of the community and cable television.

You can call 533-6639 and RSVP with Dan, or send in an email.
