Auto Burglaries Spike; Suspect Still At Large
The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department has been dealing with a recent rash of auto burglaries.
It´s been happening on the west side of the county over the last couple of weeks, but in the past few days, deputies say it´s been happening on the east side too.
Last night, deputies stopped a suspicious vehicle with an underage female inside, along with stolen property from a recent burglary in the Mono Village area.
Sheriff´s Deputies say their suspect is a white male adult, age 20, six feet tall and about 140 pounds.
He has short brown hair and brown eyes and may wear glasses.
