Today´s the day that the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors plans to review a potential settlement with Tuolumne County over a planned development near Copperopolis.
It´s called Oak Canyon Ranch, and developers came forward with the paperwork for the possible deal last week.
Back in February, Oak Canyon Ranch hit a snag when Tuolumne County supervisors filed a lawsuit, saying that advance studies weren´t properly done, and ignored the potential traffic impact to OByrnes Ferry Road.
A closed session is scheduled for this morning at the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors.
Oak Canyon Ranch would include nearly 2300 houses, over 700 townhouses, and some 3200 acres of commercial development land.
