Tuolumne, CA – Road maintenance will close two sections of Tuolumne roadways and bring lengthy delays for travelers next week.
Crews with the Tuolumne County Public Works (TCPW) will be conducting road paving operations on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, through Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 6 am to 4 pm, forcing a full closure on these county-maintained roads:
- Elm Avenue from Carter Street to Pine Street and from Pine Street to Main Street
- Willow Avenue from Oak Street to Main Street and from Main Street to Pine Street
Public works officials relayed, “Residents will continue to have access to their driveways with delays of up to 20 minutes. Emergency response vehicles and personnel will continue to have access throughout the duration of the closure.”
Drivers are asked to follow all construction signs and/or traffic control personnel in the cone zone.
