Still nothing new on the two separate cases of human remains found in Tuolumne County the weekend before Christmas. Lieutenant Roger Dittburner says the investigation continues.
“We´re still trying to determine IDs, so we still haven´t released the names. We have an idea who they are, but we haven´t released the names while we´re trying to confirm the ID,” Dittburner said Tuesday.
One set of remains was found toward the back of Columbia State Park and was estimated to have been there for weeks, at least.
The other set was found near Lumsden and Ferretti roads in the Groveland area. Those remains were only believed to have been there a few days before being found.
