The numbers were mostly positive Tuesday at the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors meeting. Even the sub-zero numbers weren´t as bad as in previous years for Tuolumne General Hospital, according to administrator Barry Woerman.
“We have a lot of people there who are working very hard to make the hospital as efficient as possible. And I think today, with a lot of numbers, and I apologize for all the numbers, but I think it shows the tale of where the hospital is headed financially,” said Woerman.
Many of the hospital´s billing staff turned out for the update of the Financial Recovery Plan for Tuolumne General.
Estimates for the second half of the current fiscal year show that almost 600-thousand dollars in negative cash flow will turn into a positive cash flow of over 650-thousand dollars.
