Moke Hill Woman Killed

A Mokelumne Hill woman was killed Wednesday night after being hit by a car on Highway 88 east of Red Corral near Jackson.
The CHP say 26 year-old Kristy Ann Lemon was walking south across the highway just before 6 p.m. and walked into the path of a car driven by 83 year-old Peter Hill of Pioneer.
Hill was unable to stop in time, hitting the woman causing the fatal injuries. He was unhurt.
