Peterson Witness Dead

There are reports this morning of the death of a woman who might have been a key witness in the murder trial of Scott Peterson.
San Francisco radio station KCBS is reporting that Vivian Mitchell of Modesto has died.
Mitchell reported seeing Laci Peterson walking her dog the day the pregnant mother vanished. wearing white and black clothes and walking with a golden retriever. The Mitchell home is about ten blocks from the Peterson home.
Scott Peterson could face the death penalty if he´s convicted of two counts of murder for the deaths of Laci Peterson and the couple´s unborn son.
