Yosemite Seeks Input on Buses and Parking
Yosemite National Park announces the opening of public scoping for the environmental assessment to Improve Yosemite Village Parking and Bus Transit Area (Camp 6). Comments will be accepted from February 18 through March 18, 2004.
This purpose of this project is to improve visitor experience at the Yosemite Valley parking and visitor facilities at Yosemite Village. The proposed improvements would address parking, traffic circulation, pedestrian and bicycle circulation, and tour bus loading and unloading.
During public scoping, a public open house will be held on February 25 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Yosemite Valley at the East Auditorium (behind the visitor center).
