Body Found in Parked Car Near Tuolumne

A state investigation is underway into the discovery of a woman´s body in a car on Buchanan Road near Tuolumne.
The body was reportedly half-dressed, and found in a white Honda Civic which was registered to an owner in San Jose.
The discovery was made by a rancher Monday morning. The car was parked in a pull out area, and the woman´s body was slumped across the front seat, with no clothes from the waist down.
Officials say there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body.
The California Department of Justice is investigating the case.
