Supervisors Have Busy Agenda Today

Today, the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors are having their last meeting until April.

A number of community leaders are scheduled to appear before the board, including Community Development Director Bev Shane, who will be discussing actions concerning the County Planning Committee.

Also, a resolution involving cooperative fire protection services will be submitted by Assistant County Fire Warden Michael Noonan.

The board will consider options for seismic retrofits for Tuolumne General Hospital.

In addition, the supervisors will discuss gathering signatures for the Local Taxpayers and Public Safety Protection Act… as part of a statewide

Supervisors will consider relinquishing a section of Mono Way due to the construction of stage one of the East Sonora Bypass.

The meeting gets underway at 9 a.m. at the Tuolumne County Administration Center. in downtown Sonora.
