2 Dead, 1 Injured After Weekend Shooting in Modesto

In Modesto, officials are investigating a lethal gang shooting from over the weekend.
Driver Patton Souphaphone was driving with his two passengers in West Modesto early Saturday morning when his car was attacked by gunfire.
Souphaphone was shot, along with his two passengers, Gary Xayarath and Saiphan Sokahn.
Souphaphone started driving to a hospital and was stopped by a Highway Patrolman, who called paramedics.
Police say they believe the shooting to be gang-related, and the investigation is continuing.
