Another Mother Lode Round-Up Parade in the record books…. the 48th annual event drew thousands of spectators, lining Washington street from Restano Way to the Red Church to watch more than 160 entries in this year´s offering.
Again, entries included every thing from antique cars, to clowns on motor scooters. Horses, horses and more horses are always the centerpiece of the parade, as are the many local school bands.
After the parade, folks headed to the Mother Lode Fairgrounds for the rodeo and later this evening the country western dance.
Round-Up activities conclude Sunday with the Mother´s Day breakfast, the kiddie rodeo and then the final round of profession bull riders, saddle broncs and team ropers during the rodeo performance starting at 2 p.m.
Here are some photos from Saturday´s big parade.
