Teens Arrested After Stealing Liquor

An 18-year-old man from Lodi is in the Calaveras County Jail for trying to steal alcohol from a grocery store in Valley Springs.
It happened Sunday evening, when a pair of teens stole the liquor and then fought with store employees while trying to escape.
Two teens in a getaway vehicle were first caught, and then deputies located the others and took them into custody.
All the suspects face charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and robbery.
18-year-old Michael Cary of Lodi is in Calaveras County Jail, with bail set at $105,000.
