Jury Pool Filled in Peterson Case

Jury selection in Scott Peterson´s double-murder trial reached a milestone Thursday — they´re done selecting potential jurors.
All that´s left to do now is to narrow that pool of 76 down to 12 jurors and six alternates.
The drawn out process of jury selection has forced the judge to push back opening statements to June First.
Lawyers will return to court on May 27th to pick the final panel.
Each side has 26 chances to dismiss potential jurors without explanation.
Peterson could face the death penalty or life without parole if he is convicted of murdering his pregnant wife, Laci, and their fetus.
