It was a night to think of memories past and to ponder the future.
The Sonora High School Class of 2004 graduated at Dunlavy Field Thursday night.
Class Valedictorian Amy Garrison told the seniors many of the rules they´re used to… are about to change.
“Some of us are immediately entering the work force, others are joining the military, many are continuing formal schooling, and some of us still don´t know our plans for next week, much less next fall. Each of us, however, is entering a new phase in our lives,” said Garrison.
Salutatorian Brady Jackson said many classes had come before, and many would follow…
“But now is our chance. Now is our time. Now is the time that we can stand up and in one voice boldly declare, ´We are the Class of 2004. You will remember us, and we will be glorious. We can be heroes, my friends, so lets not settle for less,” urged Jackson.
Tonight, the spotlight will be on seniors at Summerville High School.
