Testimony Begins in Peterson Trial

Testimony is underway again in the double-murder trial of Scott Peterson.

Amy Rocha — the half-sister of Laci Peterson — took the stand again this morning.

Prosecutors are hoping Rocha´s testimony will cast doubt about Scott Peterson´s statements that his pregnant wife was getting ready to walk their dog as he was leaving on a fishing trip.

They maintain that Laci Peterson had stopped walking her dog weeks earlier at her doctor´s request.

Lawyers for Scott Peterson speculate that someone else abducted his wife and then framed him after learning his alibi.

Meanwhile, the father of Peterson´s mistress says he has been subpoened to testify at the trial.

Ron Frey — father of Amber Frey — says he has also hired a criminal defense attorney, but he would not say why.
