It might well be confusing to some drivers cruising along Highway 49 north of Sonora – that is, if they are paying attention. But two nearly side-by-side highway signs seem to tell motorists they can´t turn left, and they surely can´t turn right. Straight´s the only way here.
The no turn zone signs are at the intersection Highway 49 and Old Sonora-Columbia Road and are to inform drivers on the highway they can´t make a right onto the narrow roadway, and those on the old Columbia Road, can not make a left onto Highway 49.
