The proposed budget for Tuolumne County has been assembled… and next week, the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will spend two or three days examining all the details and deciding whether or not to approve it.
In all, the county is looking at a $92.6 million budget for the fiscal year starting July the first. That´s nearly two million dollars less than the budget for the current fiscal year.
The 2004-2005 budget proposal also includes five county furlough days… coming out to an estimated savings of $250,000.
And, of course, without an approved state budget from Sacramento, many of the numbers are up in the air.
Supervisors plan to begin their battle over the numbers… starting Monday.
