Avery Man Arrested After Colliding With Tree

San Andreas, CA — An Avery man is facing a charge of driving under the influence after a single vehicle accident on Highway 4 last night.
CHP says 26-year-old Shaun Hansen was driving westbound near Tipton House at about 8:45 when he drove off the road and collided with a tree.
A report says Hansen was under an extreme state of intoxication at the time of the crash.
He was transported to Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries before being placed under arrest.
