AAA Offers Free Ride Home To Drivers On New Year’s Eve

Sonora, CA — Revelers who may be overdoing it this New Year´s Eve will have an alternative way of getting home this year.
AAA of Northern California is launching a new program called “Tipsy Tow” that offers free tow truck rides home.
Organizers say the program is open to everyone and you do not have to be a AAA member.
AAA in conjunction with Vic´s Towing will offer the service to drinking drivers from 6pm on New Year´s Eve until 6am on New Year´s Day.
Drivers can call (800) 222-4357 (AAA-HELP) for a free tow home of up to 5 miles. Just tell the operator, “I need a Tipsy Tow,” and a truck will be on its way.
