San Andreas, CA — Fire officials are once again warning residents of the importance of safety while conducting debris burns.
Craig Hart of the Tuolumne County Fire Department says crews were called to an address on Southworth Road in Valley Springs at about 3:00 Tuesday afternoon.
Hart says a debris fire escaped and spread to about two acres. One engine from Foothills Fire Protection doused the blaze.
Damage to the grassland is estimated at about $400.
No injuries were reported.
