Calaveras Water District Moves Along In Hiring New Manager
San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Water District is one step closer to having a new general manager.
The position was left vacant with the resignation of Alan Turner in September. District engineer Larry Diamond has been filling in temporarily since then.
In a closed session Tuesday, the board met with its recruitment consultant and narrowed down a list of potential candidates.
Those candidates will go through a first round of interviews in early January. Diamond said it would be the board´s first real opportunity to see the candidates face to face.
There will be a second round of interviews, which are tentatively scheduled for late January.
