Sacramento, CA — State Senator Chuck Poochigian has picked up a key endorsement in his run for California Attorney General.
The California Republican Lawyers Association made the announcement this week.
The organization´s endorsement committee met with both Republican candidates to rate their qualifications through an extensive interviewing process.
The panel analysed each candidate´s credentials, track record on critical legal issues and vision of public safety.
CRLA Chairman Steve Baric says Poochigian won the endorsement in part because of his work on public safety issues such as Three Strikes, No on Proposition 66 and workers compensation fraud.
Poochigian will face candidate Rodric Pacheco for the Republican nomination in June.
