Bear Valley Postpones Opening

Bear Valley, CA — Originally set for November 19, the Bear Valley Mountain Resort may not open until December 3, if that.
Officials at the resort said Mother Nature´s slow start to the winter season is the reason for the delay. There is absolutely no snow on the ground and the resort needs at least six inches to open up.
Every week the resort has pushed back it´s opening in the hopes for some Sierra snow. The latest date is set for next weekend, December 3 and 4.
