At-Large Parolee Apprehended At Rail Road Flat

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department has an at large parolee back in custody after receiving information from an alert member of the public.

Sheriff´s investigators say the tip was received after the photo of John Kyle Clark was published in a Calaveras newspaper.

The information lead Deputies to a camp off of Summit Level Road in Rail Road Flat. A report indicates that deputies arriving on the scene immediately recognized Clark who attempted to flee from the authorities.

After a short foot pursuit, Clark was reportedly taken into custody. The Sheriff´s office says charges of resisting a police officer will be filed with the District Attorney´s Office.

Clark is being held at the Calaveras County Jail pending his return to prison.
