Two Injured In Highway 26 Head-on Collision

San Andreas, CA — Two people are recovering from moderate injuries following a head-on collision on Highway 26 Friday afternoon.

CHP says 71-year-old Anita Gandolfo of Linden was driving an SUV eastbound when she crossed the center line to turn onto Hogan Dam Road.

A report indicates that 55-year-old Brant Norried of Valley Springs was driving westbound in a Ford van which impacted Gandolfo´s SUV head-on.

Gandolfo was transported to Mark Twain Hospital while Norried was taken to Memorial Hospital in Modesto.

Both were treated and released. A passenger in Norried´s van was uninjured.
