Highway 49 Maximum Enforcement Day Thursday

San Andreas, CA — The San Andreas area of the California Highway Patrol will be participating in a Maximum Enforcement day on Highway 49 this Thursday.
CHP officials say all available officers and supervisors will be patrolling Highway 49 from Interstate 80 to the Tuolumne County line in a joint agency, multi county maximum enforcement day.
Locally the CHP and Angels Camp Police Department will enforce the speed limit and seatbelt laws in a zero tolerance effort.
