Clarke Broadcasting Opens Calaveras News Bureau

Sonora, CA — Clarke Broadcasting and MyMotherLode.com are expanding news operations to include comprehensive coverage of Calaveras County.
Vanessa Turner has been appointed to head the company´s new Calaveras bureau.
Clarke Broadcasting General Manager Larry England says the move will fill the needs of a rapidly expanding community. He says the rapid growth of Calaveras County warrants Clarke´s “increased commitment” and the company looks forward to growing with the area.
Turner is a former staff writer and reporter for the “Calaveras Enterprise” newspaper and has extensive experience and expertise in covering issues and events in the county.
The new bureau based in San Andreas began operations today.
