Jousting Competition To Be Held At Mother Lode Fairgrounds

Sonora, CA — Sonora will echo this weekend with the sound of steel crashing on steel as hundreds gather for the International Jousting Championships.
The jousting, which involves men clad in steel armor charging at each other on horseback with lances, will take place at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday.
