Forest Service Centennial Commemorative Collector Artwork Available

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — The Forest Service has announced that full-color limited edition prints of an original oil painting commemorating the Forest Service Centennial are now available for sale to collectors and the public.

Officials say the 500 color prints depict a majestic, sweeping Stanislaus National Forest landscape, featuring Dardanelles, Carson Iceberg and Emigrant Wilderness.

The collector prints are produced, individually numbered, and signed by well-known local artist Patrick Michael Karnahan. The artist is donating all proceeds from the sales of the prints to support the Forest´s upcoming Centennial celebration event.

A limited number of the signed special edition Centennial prints will be available for purchase at the October 15th Forest Service Centennial Celebration, and advance copies are available on a first come first serve basis at the Stanislaus National Forest Supervisors Office in Sonora.
