Body Found Near Highway 108 In Strawberry

Strawberry, CA — A shallow grave has been discovered in the Stanislaus National Forest and Modesto Detectives say it contained the body of a decomposed adult.
Homicide detectives located the grave west of Strawberry Thursday near Highway 108.
Detectives are investigating information linking the body to a missing person from Modesto but will not be able to confirm the identity until the body is processed by the Coroners Office.
