Enrolled Agents Offer Disaster Preparedness Information

Sponsored by:

Soulsbyville, CA — The local chapter of a statewide organization of tax professionals is offering disaster preparation and recovery brochures to the public free of charge.

The Big Valley Chapter of the California Society of Enrolled Agents is offering the step-by-step disaster preparation guide through its disaster services program.

Included in the brochure are several hints that the group says will help ease the task of recovery after a fire, violent storm, flood or earthquake.

The brochure offers a list of items to be kept in an easy-to-carry box or at an off site location, such as past tax returns, escrow information, vital documents and medical information.

Anyone interested in picking up the information can call the California Society of Enrolled Agents in Soulsbyville at 532-4053, or send a self addressed, stamped envelope to CSEA, 3200 Ramos Circle, Sacramento, CA 95827-2513. Information can also be obtained in the “Taxpayer Help” section at CSEA.org.
